Boat "Nova Spera", sinking 21 miles south east of Seahouses. On scene at
4.35am, pumps landed by RAF Helicopter, flooding controlled. Taken in tow
by fishing boat "Margaret" to Eyemouth. Escorted by lifeboat, until out of
immediate danger. Lifeboat returned to station at 7.30am. |

by local boat Wave Dancer, and transferred to All Weather Lifeboat and
landed at Seahouses. Medical attention declined. Escorted dive boat. |

Police requested assistance to search the beach area off Bamburgh Castle,
for a missing 7yr old boy, missing for over three hours. Area searched by
both lifeboats, coastguards, helicopters and police. Boy found safe and
well having walked to Seahouses. |

Report from Seahouses boat "Three Sisters" that "Sovereign III" with
twelve persons on board, had struck rocks at the Knivestone. Both
Lifeboats launched immediately, and the casualty which had freed herself,
was escorted back to Seahouses. It is believed that she had suffered
damage to her propeller and possibly to her hull. |
