1 Mon Feb 21 11.32am Coble "Supreme" taking water 5 miles south east of Craster, and rope around prop. Lifeboat recalled after casualty taken in tow to Amble, by fishing vessel "Violet Stephenson", and leak brought under control. All crew safe and well. Mersey Lifeboat
2 Mon Mar 6 2.09pm Motor vehicle stranded on Holy Island Causeway - Female driver, 61yrs, in refuge box - described as frail. Rescued and taken to Holy Island. ILB only
3 Sat Apr 8 5.02pm Small 4m Rib broken down 1 mile off Seahouses. Two person on board. Towed to Seahouses. ILB only
4 Sat Apr 15 1.35pm Distress signal [orange smoke] reported by MV "St Cuthbert II", near North Sunderland Buoy. Small GRP craft with o/b engine failure, 2 persons on board. Towed by lifeboat to Seahouses, and landed persons. Mersey Lifeboat
5 Sun Apr 16 1.22pm Two persons stranded in Refuge Box, Holy Island Causeway. Reported as wet and very cold. ILB sent by sea, landed two. Taken to Berwick Infirmary by ambulance as a precautionary measure. SCT 0859-1456hr. ILB Only
6 Sun Apr 23 1pm A 5m fibre glass speedboat broken down off Swedman Buoy, 1 ½m N/E of Seahouses. Four adults and two children aboard. Towed to Seahouses. ILB Only
7 Wed May 10 8.15am "PAN-PAN" Distress Call from Yacht "Renaissance" aground in the Kettle, 11 persons on board. Yacht broke free before arrival of Lifeboats, continued to Blyth, after advice from the Coxswain. Both Lifeboats
8 Mon  May 29 12.36pm Car stranded on Holy Island Causeway. Landed Occupants   ILB only.
9 Mon May 29 12.38pm Missing diver off Longstone, area searched and diver found. Landed safely by lifeboat. Mersey only (ILB already on service !) Mersey Lifeboat
10 Thu Jun 22 4.30pm Two windsurfers reported in difficulty off Beadnell by DLA. Inshore Lifeboat launched, recalled after surfers reached shore unaided.   ILB only.
11 Thu Jul 20 5.31pm Member of the public reported a dingy adrift in Beadnell Bay. ILB and helo attended - found to be a buoyancy aid. ILB only
12 Sun  Jul 23 5.43pm Dive rib with 5 persons on board (Fell Divers from Newcastle) reported via a mobile phone to a shore contact that they were broken down with engine failure and a flat battery. They requested Lifeboat assistance. As the Lifeboat left the harbour, it came across the casualty under tow. None had advised the Coastguard ! Mersey Lifeboat
13 Sun Aug 3 2.48pm Three persons and a small child stranded on Holy Island Causeway, Mother and 16 month old child landed by ILB from Refuge Box, two males landed by Rescue Helicopter. Both Lifeboats (Already on exercise)
14 Sun Aug 3 4.14pm Woman refusing to re-board passenger boat "Golden Gate" at Longstone Island,  (Panic attack ?). Taken aboard Lifeboat with two boys and a male. Landed safely at Seahouses. Mersey Lifeboat
15 Fri Aug 18 8.02am Confused call for assistance from Dutch Yacht "Hiri" - problem with anchor - Fouled? At Holy Island - ALB launched, and located casualty, no longer in difficulty and under way !. Mersey Lifeboat
16 Thu Aug 24 9.55am Yacht "Sulomar" with fouled propeller in the Kettle, Farne Islands with two on board. Towed back to Seahouses.  Mersey Lifeboat
17 Mon Aug 28 2.02pm Two adults and 4yr old stranded on Holy Island Causeway. Landed by Inshore Lifeboat. ILB Only
18 Mon Aug 28 7.07pm Inflatable RIB - "PAN-PAN" call, broken down one mile off Seahouses. One POB. Towed back to harbour.  ILB Only
19 Wed Aug 30 4.03pm Three boys aged 12,13 & 14yrs, washed off Seahouses breakwater, rescued by Lifeboat and landed safely.  ILB Only
20 Thu Aug 31 4.01pm Two cars reported stranded on Holy Island Causeway. ILB taken by road, also RAF Helo but cars located on the Island - False Alarm, good intent. ILB Only
21 Wed Sep 6 12.44pm Yacht "Limershem" calls for assistance, dragging anchor in Newton Haven, with two crew aboard. Towed back to Seahouses by ALB. Both Lifeboats
22 Sat Sep 30 1.29am Yacht "Rough Diamond" aground at Holy Island, in thick fog. Three persons aboard. Yacht located with difficulty, and towed clear to Seahouses. Both Lifeboats
23 Fri Oct 13 11.15am Dive rib "Deep Blue" with 11 persons on board (all from Newcastle Dive Instructors Club) sent out a "MAYDAY" after hitting rocks, holing their craft, damaging their engines, and persons reported in the water. Local boats and Berwick & Seahouses Lifeboats launched, and R.131 helo. Vessel taken in tow by "Golden Promise" and escorted to Seahouses. No medical assistance required.  Both Lifeboats
