1 Thu Feb 8 12.21pm Capsized small boat reported off Ross Links. Area searched by Lifeboats, Coastguard and RAF Boulmer - Nothing found. Small boat recovered. Both Lifeboats
2 Sat Apr 14 4.57pm Report of broken down dive RIB off Beadnell. Cancelled just prior to launch, boat and crew (8) all safely ashore. Mersey Lifeboat
3 Sun Apr15 10.57am Dive RIB "Bon Aventure broken down off Pinnacles with 3 men and 1 female on board. Taken in tow to Seahouses, and landed safely.  Mersey Lifeboat
4 Thu Apr 19 1.59pm Windsurfer in difficulties at Beadnell Bay. Lifeboats cancelled before launch - casualty safely ashore.  Both Lifeboats
5 Wed Jun 6 2.42am Assist police - transport 2 officers onto Holy Island at high tide, and bring a female suffering from some form of mental breakdown ashore. (Skipper of Dutch Sail Training boat "De Tukker"). Casualty transferred to awaiting ambulance. ILB Only by road
6 Mon Jun 11 8.06pm German 25ft Yacht "Nesisto" reported aground on rocks off Newton Point. Craster ILB also launched, yacht found not to be in difficulties, Lifeboats recalled. Both Lifeboats + Craster ILB
7 Tue Jul 3 10.53pm MFV Flourish broken down off Longstone Island, with 2 persons on board. Towed to Seahouses. Mersey Lifeboat
8 Wed Aug 8 6.13pm Two boys body surfing off Beadnell Pier in difficulty - one report of being washed off by wave. Both safely ashore as lifeboats arrived on scene. Both Lifeboats
9 & 10 Tue Aug 21 11.20am Windsurfer in difficulty on Carr Ends, mast broken - in distress on rocks. Rescued and brought ashore onto beach. Then to Golden Boy II off Seahouses Harbour entrance, Medivac a crewman with a finger laceration to Seahouses, for treatment by doctor. ILB only
11 Mon Aug 27 12.04am Two crew from yacht "Jambo 6" in difficulty in tender returning from Holy Island. Assisted by yachts "Progress" and "Halfpast" also at Holy Island. Crew boarded yacht safely, on arrival of lifeboat. Mersey Lifeboat
12 Sat Sep 1 4.56pm Report of broken down speedboat 1.5 miles north of Beadnell Harbour. Actually 1.5 miles north of Seahouses. Towed in by charter boat "Sovereign" - ILB returned to station - not required. ILB only
13 Tue Sep 18 3.19pm Elderly couple trapped on Holy Island Causeway - rescued by ILB. ILB only
14 Wed Oct 31 1.19pm Couple and 2 children trapped on Holy Island Causeway - rescued by ILB. ILB only
15 Wed Nov 12 1.30pm Persons trapped - Holy Island Causeway, cancelled while on route. Persons safely ashore. ILB Only by road
16 Fri Dec 14 10.50pm Cargo ship "Rosebank" on fire, 10 ½ miles south east of Seahouses. Crew taken off by helo (abandoning ship) 5 minutes before Lifeboat reached vessel, stood by vessel. Mersey Lifeboat
17 Mon Dec 17 5.31pm MFV "Rose of Sharon" aground on rocks, south side of harbour - 3 p.o.b. Attempted to take off crew, too dangerous. Stood by till arrival of Helicopter, which winched them to safety. Mersey Lifeboat
