2 Tue Feb 12 2.15pm Report of car stranded on Holy Island Causeway - False alarm with good intent - Inshore Lifeboat recalled. ILB only
3 Sat Feb 16 3.15pm Kite Surfer in trouble in Beadnell Bay. Rescued by Inshore Lifeboat and landed safely. ILB only
4 Sun Feb 17 5.55pm Flares reported of Dunstanburgh. Area searched by ALB and Craster ILB, nothing found. Mersey Lifeboat
5 Sun Feb 24 11.54am Vehicle and occupants trapped on Holy Island Causeway. Lifeboat recalled , persons safely ashore before arrival of ILB. ILB Only
6 Sat Apr 27 1.44pm Motor boat "Spitfire" broken down off Beadnell Point. Towed to Beadnell by ILB. ILB Only
7 Sun Apr 28 3.11pm Two persons with almost new car, trapped on Holy Island Causeway. Male & Female landed by ILB. ILB Only
8 Sat May 4 8.21pm Boat "Minotaur" reported overdue at Seahouses. Located safe and well at Holy Island - owner had not informed Coastguard or others of intentions. Coastguards and RAF Helicopter also involved. Search cancelled. Both Lifeboats
9 Sat Jun 1 7.41pm Yacht "Smokey Bear" requests assistance, aground at Newton Point. Yacht had got free on arrival of Lifeboats, but had damaged its keel. Escorted by Lifeboat till it was certain the yacht was in no danger of sinking. Yacht made for Amble Harbour for hull inspection.  Both Lifeboats
10 Mon Jun 3 4.29pm Dive boat "LMU" reports having come across a 15' motor boat "Nice One Laflin", broken down with 7 persons on board, at Beadnell Point. Dive boat not capable of towing the casualty and requested assistance. Casualty towed to Beadnell by Lifeboat, and 7 persons landed safely.  Mersey Lifeboat
11 Fri Jun 7 2.21pm Two elderly adults and young male trapped on Holy Island Causeway, vehicle trapped by rising tide. rescued by ILB from Refuge Box. Brought to Seahouses Boathouse to make recovery arrangements for their vehicle. ILB only
12 Mon Jul 1 1.50pm Fishing vessel "Nimrod" on passage from Eyemouth to Amble, seen from Lifeboat Station to strike and ground on the Swedman Rocks near the Farne Islands. Both Lifeboats launched, assisted by other local vessels. Lifeboat stood by till vessel refloated on the tide at 4.15pm. Casualty returned to Eyemouth slip for inspection Both Lifeboats
13 Thu Jul 18 9.30pm Clothing found on pier, ILB launched to assist police and coastguard in search for possible missing child swimmer. Owner of clothing traced - already safely ashore, lifeboat recalled.  Both Lifeboats
14 Tue Jul 23 11.50am Charter boat "Three Sisters" reports a diver aboard with "Bends" symptoms - urgently requesting oxygen. ILB met casualty returning to harbour, supported by the ALB crew on shore. Diver flown by helo to decompression chamber for treatment. LB Crew on shore only
15 Fri Jul 26 6.20pm During crew meeting, member of public reported a girl swimmer on the end of the breakwater in respiratory distress. Crew attended in station Landrover, casualty exhibiting symptoms of shock, mild hypothermia and inhaling/swallowing sea water. Warmed with blankets and given oxygen till arrival of an ambulance - taken to hospital for assessment. Later fully recovered. LB Crew on shore only
16 Mon Jul 29 9.40am Charter Boat "Three Sisters" reported aground on rocks and in danger while tending lobster pots off Beadnell, local vessels giving assistance. ILB passed tow line to local vessels - casualty towed clear. No obvious damage. ILB Only
17 Mon Aug 5 4.43pm Two swimmers in difficulty 250 metres in current off Bamburgh Castle. rescued and landed safely but exhausted by ILB Crew . ILB Only
18 Tue Aug 6 3.47pm Child missing at Beadnell Bay, ILB launched to assist in search of shore. Child found safe and well, ILB recalled. ILB Only
19 Tue Aug 20 1.26pm Fishing vessel "Guide Me" with rope fouling propeller, in danger of being carried onto rocks by the sea, just off Seahouses Harbour. ILB launched and gave assistance, vessel towed in by other local craft. ILB Only
20 Sun Sep 8 3.25pm Dive boat "Felix" reported two divers missing off the Farne Islands. Both Lifeboats launched and searched area. Divers located by another local boat, safe and well, reunited with their dive boat. Both Lifeboats
21 Fri Oct 25 2.48pm Fishing Vessel "Bright Ray" reports another vessel "Ellen Mac" totally disabled in rough seas, 22miles east of Seahouses. ALB launched and took over tow, bringing the casualty to Seahouses at 8pm that day, for repair. Mersey Lifeboat
