1 Tues Jan 18 5.27am Fishing vessel "Ocean Quest" taking water 11 miles off Seahouses. Towed to Seahouses by Mersey Lifeboat.  Mersey Lifeboat
2 Wed May 12 1.19pm Two divers with suspected bends treated at Seahouses Harbour by Lifeboat Crew. Station Landrover only.
3 Sun May 30 5.05pm Yacht Merlin XII aground at Newton Haven, requesting assistance. Both Lifeboats launched in support of Craster Lifeboat. ILB only
4 Wed Jun 2 2.50am Medivac (Medical evacuation) from Holy island. Assist ambulance un able to reach island because of tide, to remove an elderly ill man to hospital. Brought ashore by Coastguard Landrover. ILB by road to Causeway.
5 Wed Jun 2 4.46pm Missing Child on Bamburgh Beach, Police request assistance to search. Lifeboats cancelled as launching, child found safe and well. Both Lifeboats.
6 Thu Jun 3 4.13pm Yacht capsized in Beadnell Bay, person clinging to upturned hull. Multiple reports from the public. Vessel righted, and escorted safely to shore by Lifeboat. ILB Only
7 Fri Jun 4 2.20pm 9m Yacht "Favonia" with rope around propeller, dragging anchor and in danger of being carried onto rocks at Holy Island. Requested immediate assistance. Taken in to Holy Island Haven by Lifeboat. Mersey Lifeboat Mersey Lifeboat
8 Sun Jun 13 12.38pm Diver with "bends" symptoms, aboard Seahouses Charter Boat "St Ebba IV" near Pinnacles, Farne Islands. Brought to Seahouses on a fast RIB, and met by Lifeboat Crew, where he was treated till arrival of helicopter. LB Crew and Station Landrover only
9 Tues Jun 15 2.36pm 7 persons trapped on Holy Island Causeway, including 3 adults from a Care Home, all rescued by Lifeboat and landed safely. Met by RNLI Landrover which took them to a nearby hotel to get warm drinks and to make recovery arrangements for their vehicles (2). ILB and Landrover crew.
10 Wed Jun 16 12.48pm Medivac (Medical evacuation) from Staple Island, female visitor had fallen and had two suspected broken ankles. Treated by Lifeboat crew (Entonox) and stretchered to waiting Lifeboat. Landed at Seahouses to waiting ambulance. Mersey Lifeboat
11 Sat Jun 26 2.57pm 8 Sea Kayaks reported missing off Holy Island in deteriating sea conditions. Lifeboats cancelled as being launched, kayaks located all safe. Both Lifeboats
12 Fri Jul 2 12.30pm "Mayday" from charter boat "Sovereign 2", diver missing. Had surfaced and then re-entered the water. Lifeboat acted as "On Scene Commander", with Seahouses and Craster  ILB's, Helicopter and local vessels assisting. 1 hour later, a man's body was recovered from the water. Attempts to resuscitate him failed. Transferred to hospital by helicopter, where he was pronounced dead. Both Lifeboats and Craster ILB
13 Tues Jul 20 5.05pm Unmanned dinghy seen drifting and partially submerged off Seahouses Harbour. Recovered by local vessel, and occupants found aboard a moored vessel on south side the harbour, where they had abandoned when dinghy found to be sinking. ILB only
14 Wed Jul 21 12.15pm 9m motor cruiser "Jasper 2" requests assistance, engine failure off the Wamses, Farne Islands, 2 persons on board. Towed to Seahouses for repair. Mersey Lifeboat
15 Thu Jul 22 12.09pm RAF Tornado crashed into sea off Dunstanburgh Castle, crew ejected and rescued by helicopter. Lifeboat recovered debris, and assisted RAF crash recovery teams at the scene for several hours. Mersey Lifeboat
16 Sat Jul 24 2.30pm Yacht "Boulevard Lady" aground on rocks in Newton Bay. Lifeboat stood by and assisted the yacht to refloat as the tide flooded. Both Lifeboats
17 Sat Jul 24 4pm Broken down Dive RIB "Delta Diver" off Longstone Lighthouse, Farne Islands, 7 persons on board. Towed to Seahouses. Mersey Lifeboat
18 Sat Jul 24 10.30pm Dinghy reported adrift off Newton Haven. False alarm, good intent, - tender returning to moored yacht. Mersey Lifeboat and Craster ILB
19 Sat Jul 31 3.50pm Broken down motor boat "Vigo", 1 mile south of Seahouses, 2 persons on board. Towed to Seahouses. Mersey Lifeboat
20 Sat Aug 21 3.23pm Adult and 2 children in difficulty in water off Bamburgh beach. Safely ashore, ILB cancelled after launch. ILB Only
21 Sun Aug 22 5.47pm Yacht "Davlos" with engine trouble off Seahouses Harbour, 3 persons on board. Reached harbour without assistance Both Lifeboats
22 Sat Aug 28 1.55pm Diver with possible "Bends" landed at Seahouses by dive RIB "Leeds Athletic". Escorted by ILB and met by LB Crew, treated by crew till arrival of helicopter. ILB and Landrover crew.
23 Sun Aug 29 12.05pm Kayak with two persons on board, in difficulty off Seahouses Harbour in strong wind. Rescued and brought to Seahouses.  ILB only.
24 Mon Aug 30 3.05pm Two vehicles stranded on Holy Island Causeway. ILB diverted from Annual Lifeboat Fete, 5 persons rescued. Had failed to observe safe crossing times. ILB only
25 Sat Sep 04 3.18am Fishing boat "Adaptable" aground on Longstone Island. Refloated and escorted to safe water Mersey Lifeboat
26 Sat Sep 11 12.46am Seriously ill male to be evacuated from Holy Island, ambulance unable to access due to tide. Stood by as Coastguard Landrover managed to bring casualty to the mainland and the awaiting ambulance. Mersey Lifeboat and ILB
27 Sun Sep 12 3.15pm "999" call from woman in car being washed off Holy Island Causeway. Lifeboat stood by till Coastguard from Holy Island arrived to pull vehicle back onto the island. ILB only.
28 Fri Sep 17 4.28pm Three walkers stranded on Holy Island Causeway, attempting to cross outside of safe crossing times. Airlifted by helicopter as ILB reached scene. ILB only.
29 Mon Nov 1 4.04am Seriously ill person on Holy Island, ambulance unable to cross causeway due to tide. ILB taken by road to transport paramedics, but patient airlifted by RAF helicopter. Crew stood down. ILB and Station Landrover
30 Tue Nov 2 2.49pm Man (clergyman) cut off by tide on St Cuthbert's Isle, Holy Island. Landed safely by ILB.  ILB only.
31 Thu Nov 4 1.04pm Seahouses Fishing Boat "Three Sisters" aground and taking water off Seahouses Harbour. ILB cancelled as being launched, boat had managed to get free, but salvage pump requested. Vessel had taken considerable quantity of water. Pumped out in harbour, and vessel assessed for damage. ILB and Shore Crew.
32 Mon Nov 8 10.42pm Woman threatening self harm in Seahouses Harbour. Located by Police, safe and well. Lifeboat recalled. ILB only.
33 Thu Dec 30 9.24am Seahouses Fishing Boat "Portia of Poole" with 2 crew, windscreens broken after shipping a heavy sea, in Force 8 gusting 9 winds, 8 miles off Seahouses. Unable to proceed without taking water. Local vessel Glad Tidings also standing by her. Escorted safely to Seahouses, in rough seas, in lee of Lifeboat, for repair. Mersey Lifeboat
