001 Tues Feb 03 18.52hr Report of three anglers in possible danger from the rising tide at Newton Point on rocks. Lifeboat (on exercise off Seahouses) tasked to illuminate scene for helicopter, all offers of assistance refused, lifeboat stood down from scene. All weather lifeboat
002 Fri Mar 13 18.00hr Dog in difficulty in the sea off Beadnell Harbour. Person accompanying it also in the water, but both safely ashore. Lifeboat recalled. Inshore Lifeboat
003 Sun Apr 05 14.51hr Diver with bends symptoms landed at Seahouses from charter boat "Glad Tidings 7". Treated by lifeboat crew and transferred to helicopter for transport to hyperbaric chamber at Aberdeen. Inshore Lifeboat
004 Mon Apr 06 10.45hr "Glad Tidings 1" taking water in Seahouses Harbour, pump requested. Assistance given by Lifeboat crew, to pump out flooded vessel. Inshore Lifeboat and Landrover
- Sat Apr 11 19.55hr Lifeboat paged to evacuate a casualty from Holy Island with broken leg. (High tide - causeway closed)  Lifeboat cancelled prior to launch, injury more serious than first thought, RAF Helicopter attending. All Weather Lifeboat
005 & 006 Sun Apr 12 22.55hr Red flare reported over the Farne Islands. Extensive search by both lifeboats, nothing found. ALB could not be rehoused until 02.15hr due to low tide. Both Lifeboats
007 Sun Apr 26 09.20hr Dive RIB with radio jamming Ch 16 (Distress/Calling Channel), affecting Coastguard rescue operations. Lifeboat launched to locate radio signal and vessel to silence it. Vessel “Farne Discovery” located near Farne Islands, radio silenced on arrival, lifeboat stood down. All Weather Lifeboat
008 & 009 Sat May 09 16.08hr Kite Surfer in distress at Budle Bay. Area searched, kite recovered from water, surfer traced safely ashore, lifeboats stood down. Both Lifeboats
No Launch Sat May 16 13.32hr Wind Surfer reported in distress in Beadnell Bay. Safely reached shore prior to lifeboats launching, launch cancelled. Both Lifeboats
No Launch Tue May 26 13.32hr 2 kayaks (children) reported in distress in Beadnell Bay. Safely reached shore prior to lifeboats launching, launch cancelled. Both Lifeboats
010 Tue Jun 09 16.09hr Two adults and two children trapped on Holy Island Causeway. rescued by Lifeboat, and landed on mainland (met by local police). Inshore Lifeboat
011 & 012 Sat Jun 13 08.33hr Yacht “Tina Louise” of Amble with 5 crew, aground at Newton Haven/Point on rocks, Craster ILB and Both Seahouses Lifeboats launched. Assistance given, Seahouses All Weather Lifeboat returning at 17.30hr to assist in refloating yacht at high tide. Seahouses ILB recalled as Craster on scene. Both Lifeboats and Craster Inshore Lifeboat
013 Sat Jun 13 17.30hr All Weather Lifeboat relaunched to yacht “Tina Louise”. With assistance of Craster Inshore Lifeboat, tow passed, and on rising tide, yacht pulled clear of rocks. Due to hull and engine damage, yacht towed to safety of Seahouses harbour for further inspection and repair arrangements. All Weather Lifeboat and Craster Inshore Lifeboat
014 Fri Jun 19 16.12hr Immediate launch requested to “Mayday” call from yacht “Geordie Mermaid” after loosing all steering in very adverse weather conditions between Farne Islands and the mainland. Vessel towed to Seahouses Harbour. All Weather Lifeboat
015 & 016 Thu Jun 25 14.28hr Crew pager to search the beach between  Seahouses and Bamburgh for a male casualty believed to be suffering a heart attack and unsure of his exact location. Man located by RNLI Shore Crew in Station Landrover and treated by crew, paramedics and an RAF helicopter winchman before being airlifted to hospital. Inshore Lifeboat and Station Landrover
017 Sun Jun 28 21.52hr Launched to 16ft open boat lost in fog in the Holy Island area. Vessel eventually found near to the Triton Buoy and escorted to Holy Island harbour. All Weather Lifeboat
018 Mon Jul 20 13.18hr Vehicle with female and disabled male occupants, trapped by tide on Holy Island Causeway. Rescued by helicopter, and assistance given by Inshore Lifeboat. Vehicle was attempting to cross contrary to safe crossing times. Inshore Lifeboat
019 & 020 Sat Jul 25 16.30hr Youth with possible spinal injury, requiring evacuation from Holy Island. Ambulance crew taken by lifeboat, helicopter then became available, and airlifted casualty to hospital after assessment by Paramedics taken up by Lifeboat. Both Lifeboats
021 Tues Jul 28 12.03hr Youth in difficulties in sea off Bamburgh Castle (Body Boarder), waiving for assistance. Youth managed to reach shore unaided prior to Lifeboat's arrival - Lifeboat stood down. Inshore Lifeboat
022 & 023 Sat Aug 01 08.06hr Fishing Vessel "Bright Horizon" with 3 crew, broken down and being washed onto rocks at The Callers near Crumstone at the Farne Islands. Towed to Seahouses. Both Lifeboats
024 Sat Aug 15 16.15hr Kite Surfer in difficulty at south side of Beadnell Bay. Escorted ashore by lifeboat. Inshore Lifeboat
025 Mon Aug 31 12.57hr Report of 4 adults and a child in vehicle stranded on Holy Island Causeway, cut off by tide. Inshore Lifeboat diverted from Annual Harbour Fete, but cancelled on route. Persons safely ashore at Holy island. Inshore Lifeboat
026 & 027 Tue Sep 01 17.37hr PAN-PAN” Distress call from 31ft fishing vessel “Five Stars” with 2 crew, having suffered gearbox failure, and being carried towards rocks by the wind and strong tide, near the Swedman at the Farne Islands. Rescued by lifeboat, as the boat became dangerously close to rocks. Towed to Seahouses Harbour . Both Lifeboats
028 & 029 Sat Sep 17 12.31 Local Coastguard reports a diver overdue/missing from his boat in Beadnell Bay.  Diver surfaced as Lifeboats launching, launch cancelled, False alarm - good intent. Both Lifeboats
030 Mon Sep 28 02.01hr Fishing vessel "Constant Friend" disabled off Seahouses with rope around propellor. Towed to Seahouses by Lifeboat All Weather Lifeboat
031 Thu Oct 01 14.01hr Two persons trapped in the refuge Box on Holy Island Causeway, crossing contrary to safe crossing times. Inshore Lifeboat taken by road (rough sea conditions), and both rescued and landed safely. Inshore Lifeboat
