Call No Day Date Time Service Detail Lifeboats Launched
001 Sat Jan 02 04.17hr Lifeboat requested for possible medical evacuation of male with serious medical problem on Holy Island. (Causeway closed – high tide, no helicopter available.) Ambulance crew taken by lifeboat from Seahouses. Patient assessed, and to be taken by road when causeway passable (approx 7.30am). A sea passage not considered suitable for the ill man. One ambulance crewman returned to Seahouses, the other remained with the casualty. Mersey Lifeboat
002 Sat Jan 02 15.07hr Two person in vehicle trapped, trying to cross flooded Holy Island Causeway, contrary to safe crossing times. Made their own way to the shore, very wet and cold, met by local coastguards. Lifeboat cancelled while on route by road with Station Landrover. Inshore Lifeboat by road
003 Mon Jan 04 17.02hr Fishing vessel “Good Fellowship” broken down and requesting assistance 12 miles south east of Seahouses. Towed back to  Seahouses by Lifeboat, arriving at 20.05hr. Mersey Lifeboat
004 Thu Jan 28 09.52hr Fishing vessel “Quo Vadis” taking water in Seahouses Harbour, own pumps out of action. ILB crew transported the salvage pump from the All Weather Lifeboat by Landrover. Vessel quickly pumped out and leak repaired, minimising potential damage by sea water. Inshore Lifeboat Crew using Station Landrover
005 & 006 Sun Feb 28 13.21hr Craster Inshore Lifeboat capsized south of Craster Harbour while on exercise, and required immediate assistance. Both Lifeboats launched. Craster ILB recovered from shore by hand, crew airlifted to hospital - later released after treatment for minor injuries, mild hypothermia and shock. Both Lifeboats.
